Drawing Desert Native Edibles

Desert plants are beautiful, colorful and diverse. In this class we will learn about desert native edibles as we draw and paint them. We will create vibrant colors and capture the magic of these amazing plants in our paintings. Instruction includes drawing and a variety of watercolor painting techniques. All levels of skill are welcome.

Materials are not provided, please provide your own. Here’s a recommended list:

• watercolor paint – a small palette will do
• brushes – a round and a flat
• palette – a place to mix paint with water (a white plate is nice)
• pencil, eraser, water container, paper towels
• scratch paper

Online class participants will receive a Zoom link for the live class two hours before the class begins.

All online classes are recorded and participants receive a video replay that is available for two weeks after the date of the class.
