This class explores the wonderful world of fungi, in specific the fruiting bodies of fungi known as mushrooms. Boletes, milkcaps, polypores, stinkhorns, puffballs, and morels will be just some of the fungi that will be discussed. We will also cover the critical role that fungi play in many ecosystems, from decomposers to parasites to their essential relationships with the roots of many trees. Join us for a look at these truly fascinating organisms!
