Wildflowers of Southern Arizona with naturalist Jeff Babson
In some years, the Sonoran desert is carpeted in color, thanks to the blooming of spring wildflowers. In this class, we look into the conditions that produce these spectacular floral displays, as well as, the plants involved. We will also take a look at the flowers produced by summer monsoon rains. With any luck at all, this class will be a primer to the spring flower show in 2022!
Online class participants will receive a Zoom link for the live class two hours before the class begins.
All online classes are recorded and participants receive a video replay that is available for two weeks after the date of the class.
